Christopher P. Stroech
Esquire

Chris has been practicing law in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia for nearly twenty years. Before opening Panhandle Legal in December, 2022, he worked with Arnold & Bailey, PLLC, in Charles Town, for fifteen years. He previously worked with Richard L. Douglas in Martinsburg upon graduating from law school.

Chris is a civil litigator, focusing his practice on property, contract and business litigation. He also handles personal injury matters and simple estate planning. He practices in all West Virginia courts and before varying administrative bodies, and has handled cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Chris graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2003. He had just previously graduated magna cum laude with bachelor degrees in Political Science and History. He lives in Shepherdstown with his wife, Sarah Poland, and dedicates some time to serve on the Town Council and varying town committees.

Debbie obtained an Associate Degree in Legal Assistance from the Hagerstown Business College in Hagerstown, Maryland. Following her graduation, she pursued employment in Charles Town where she grew up. Her love of people drew her to the legal field so that she could help those who were having difficulties in their life. She was employed by Robert D. Aitcheson, Esq. and worked as his legal assistant for thirty years until his retirement. She then worked for Arnold & Bailey, PLLC as a legal assistant for eleven years. She is excited to join Panhandle Legal, where her goal is to continue to help people whenever and wherever she can. As a career legal assistant, she is well respected in the local legal community.

Debbie grew up in Charles Town, West Virginia and has lived in Jefferson County all of her life. She has three grown children and four grandchildren whom she loves dearly. She is active in her church, the Charles Town Presbyterian Church, where she plays handbells and is an active member of both the Board of Deacons and the Fellowship Team.
